Lovely cafe perfect for a quick bite just steps from the Rock of Cashel’s parking lot. Their offerings are simple but yummy. We had the toasted special with turkey instead of ham, and it hit the spot, especially with mustard. The vegetable soup was good, the bread was good as well. Very welcoming of children and babies. The service was great, and the owners/staff were friendly and chatty- happy to provide recommendations for our onward travels.

Best option for real food or a proper Lavazza coffee/espresso convenient to the Rock of Cashel. Don’t be put off by proximity to the car park - it’s perfect for families (or parents) passing through in need of a snack or light meal. The proprietors of this simple, cozy restaurant were the highlight of a challenging drive through Ireland. Thank you gentlemen for the great Lavazza espressos and better conversation!🇮🇪🇨🇦
If you want to eat somewhere that treats you like family this is the place for you. On a beautiful day you can eat in their garden area or you can eat inside which makes you feel like you're in your Grandmas kitchen. Granny's kitchen is just steps to both the Rock of Cashel itself and the parking area for The Rock of Cashel. All the food was fantastic and for me personally I loved the vegetable soup. There is nothing not to like about Granny's Kitchen.
Isabelle was just the sweetest waitress who seems to wake up every day happy and ready to chat.
Enjoy from,
